Not after it. In it. The R.E.B.U.I.L.D. Method™ wasn't written when the story was over. It was built while the collapse was still unfolding — because nothing else held.
My name is Uhia Willis. I'm a men's identity reconstruction coach, speaker, and the founder of The R.E.B.U.I.L.D. Method™ — a seven-phase framework designed for men in collapse.
Before any of this, I was a licensed insurance broker. I built a practice. I built a life. I had the external structure that most men spend their twenties and thirties working toward. And then, over the course of a season I didn't see coming, the floor came out from under me.
A season that stripped me to the foundation. Rooms where my future was being decided by people who didn't know me. A coordinated, organized, vicious smear campaign that reached into my personal network, my professional reputation, and the community I had built my life inside. Faith leaders — the pastor, the bishop, the men I had trusted to be in my corner — went quiet when the pressure came.
I want to be honest about what that silence cost me. It's not a footnote in the story. It is the story. Because the thing that nearly broke me wasn't the collapse itself. It was the absence of men who were supposed to be there and weren't.
I'm still in the middle of rebuilding — in some ways I always will be. But I'm not waiting for it to be over to do the work. The framework I built in the wreckage is the proof that you don't have to wait.
When I was inside the collapse, I tried what existed. I tried the talking. The journaling. The sitting with uncertainty. The frameworks that say "sit with your feelings before you take action." I tried the rooms that are designed to help people in crisis.
None of it held. Not because those things don't have value — but because I needed a different kind of structure. I needed a construction site, not a waiting room. I needed a job to do, not an insight to receive.
I noticed something about myself and about the men I talked to in those months: when I framed my life as a construction project — with phases, sequencing, a foundation to pour before walls could go up — I could function. I could make decisions. I could move. The chaos had a structure around it, even when the chaos was still happening.
That's what became The R.E.B.U.I.L.D. Method™. Not a program I designed from a whiteboard. A framework I built because I needed it and nothing that existed did what I needed done.
The phases are sequential because the foundation has to hold before the walls go up. R before E. E before B. You don't skip ahead because you want to. You build in order because that's how structures work.
I've walked men through this framework 1:1, in cohort programs, in corporate settings, in faith communities, and from stages. The man on the floor and the executive in collapse respond to the same framework — because identity collapse doesn't discriminate by altitude.
I'm not a therapist. I hold no clinical license and I'm not offering therapeutic services. What I am is a man who went through a collapse that was real and public and ongoing, built a framework in the middle of it, and came out the other side with something that works — and a calling to put it in front of every man who needs it.
I have my faith. It runs underneath everything I do, though it doesn't sit on the surface of it. I believe in a God who doesn't waste anything — not the fire, not the wreckage, not the silence of men who should have shown up. All of it gets used in the rebuild. That's not a theology I inherited. It's a theology I earned.
I'm just the guy with the calling forged by the fire of the message. That's the whole bio.
